Personalized Silk Ribbon Wrap Bracelets are here - With a SPECIAL OFFER
One of the hottest boho trends right now is wrap bracelets. Risky Beads is stocking up on both leather and silk ribbon wraps. This post focuses on the silk ribbon wraps and contains a special offer at the end!! All ribbon wraps are $22.95 and come with either an aluminum or copper bar or an aluminum or copper button. Each option holds a max of 30 characters each. Be sure to count spaces and symbols into that number. There are 9 ribbon colors to choose from as well! Chart is at end of this post.
You can also purchase just an extra ribbon using this listing. Full chart is below:
So...now for the special offer good through Sunday, 4/21....
When you purchase any silk ribbon wrap, you can get a free leather cord in either black, brown, copper, or silver. The leather will be 3 feet long just like the ribbons and will give you some more options to wear your bar or button. Just to be clear, the offer is for the leather only, not an additional button or bar.
HOW TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE OFFER:
Purchase a silk ribbon wrap and mention FREE LEATHER CORD along with your color in notes to seller during checkout. If no color choice is given, we will choose for you. This is NOT a coupon code. Just mention it in the white box in your cart and we'll include it with your order. Offer valid thru Midnight, 4/21 (Sunday).
Happy Shopping!!

New Studio Pics - Creative Bliss!
I'm so excited about the new tables for my studio!! My grandmother's kitchen table was only going to last so long when I was hammering on it every day, so I got my handy brother-in-law to make two new and bigger tables for me, and he did a fantastic job! So, for reference, here is a picture of the 'old' studio. Notice the size of the table and the fact that there's just one! This posed a problem when I hired my assistant last fall. She had to work at a separate table that faced the window, so I spent six months talking to her pony tail, lol. (Eventually we'll take that abandoned little table and turn it into a shipping station!)
So, I designed a new work space with two tables that face each other and are buffered with a little bit of foam padding. This way we can face each other while we work, but not transfer motion from one table to the other. As you can see, the orders are piling up!!
And here's a pic of Blair's side of the table which is noticeably neater than mine! This arrangement works out so much better because we can pass tools and wisdom back and forth while we work. Can you tell that we are in love with Handy Tape?
And here's a wider pic of the whole new setup! We have about 30% more table space now and are very, very happy! Which is good because we're getting busy. Having two tables also means that we can rearrange our work space if needed, like if we get tired of staring at each other, lol.
Our Mother's Day order deadline (U.S. orders) is May 1st so order now! Lots of ideas here.

So here's a picture of my side of the table with fonts everywhere and my tell tale masking-tape-recycle project wherein I refuse to throw a piece away until it has lost all of its stickiness, lol.

New Symbols at Risky Beads
Every so often, I go a little crazy and add some new symbols to my tools at Risky Beads. Here's a peek at the new chart:
The new symbols start with 113 and end with 122. I've added another large leaf, a dandelion, a new arrow, a tri-swirl (triskele), a square, a lace heart, 2 more flourish symbols and left and right angel wings. *Whew* I think that's enough for now. :)

Recent Handmade Purchases- Rings, Calendars, and yes, More Soap!
Time to invite you guys to be super-nosy and see what else I've bought on Etsy lately! My previous posts can be found here. Read them! They're fun! Let's dig in....
My ring fetish is back in full swing again. I'm a writer in my other-other life, and I need to constantly remind myself that writing = rewriting, so I bought myself another sterling silver stacking ring from Tiny Tokens. I know what you're thinking...you make jewelry, why are you buying from someone else? It's because I don't work with sterling silver and sometimes I like to treat myself to something different than what I make day-in and day-out. :)

I really wanted to get a set of rings with my kitty cats initials on them, so I bought 2 of these little cuties from Kathryn Reichert. Aren't they adorable?
And to further support my author-alter-ego, I bought some cool custom pencils from The Carbon Crusader.
Next, I bought a small chipboard calendar to keep track of marketing events for my shop. I absolutely love it!!
And finally, I gave in to my soap addiction with some new whipped soap in a jar from Anderson Soap Company! I tried a new scent called Infinite Romance, and O.M.G. this scent is perfection if you favor fruity scents over floral. I adore it!!
And a little peppermint, too. I love the tingle!!
Hope you enjoyed this peek behind my curtain!!
